Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has held the Meeting with the Chairman of the Representative Mission of the European Commission in Ukraine, Mr. Jose Manuel Pinto Tesheira.
The Meeting was held as a preparation for the official visit of Hans-Geert Pöttering, the President of European Parliament to Ukraine.
"There are no political disagreements in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concerning the cooperation with the European Structures. Ukrainian Parliament reflects the tendencies of Ukrainian people to enter the European community", - V. Lytvyn stressed.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that the visit of the President of European Parliament into Ukraine as "great support of the Ukrainian Parliamentarianism".
On his part, Chairman of the Representative Mission of the European Commission in Ukraine, Mr. Jose Manuel Pinto Tesheira stressed that Ukraine should make real steps to the European Integration.
The parties discussed the issue of the legislative basis for the cooperation of Ukraine with the finance organizations.
